Bearded Dragon Cage and Habitat

First you want to get a 20 gallon tank for the baby bearded dragons. Then you want to get a 40 gallon tank for the adult Bearded dragons. You also need a screen top for the tanks so your Bearded dragon can breathe. You do not want a glass lid because then your Bearded dragon cannot breathe.

Now you can be creative! You can put in anything you want in the tank now, although there are some essential things that you need. You need a heat lamp to keep it warm and you need a thermometer to tell how warm it is in the tank. The temperature should be around 80 to 100 degrees. You also need a hiding spot for your Bearded dragon. This is important because it gives your Bearded dragon a place to go when it wants to be alone.

You should not put plants in your Bearded dragon’s tank, because if you put plants in the tank that he is not supposed to eat he could eat them and get sick or even maybe die. Stick with fake plants.

Now you know what to put in your tank and what not to put in your tank. Congratulations!
